ANGSI

ANGSI is located in the business hub of Shenzhen Coastal City. It inherits the central theme of Shenzhen Bay’s openness and inclusiveness. With its unprecedented space scale and various cake styles, it defines the concept of a cake museum for the first time.

As the only giant cake shop in the world, the commercial value and risks of Angsi itself coexist in the wave of Internet transitioning from online to offline. Transforming the original bar into a comprehensive cake shop requires the design team to inject enough business thinking into the design thinking, and finally create a presentation value of 1+1>2. Therefore, only those with a very adventurous spirit Designers are qualified for this design journey with a 200% adventure factor.

Over 4,000 square meters of completely isolated two-story space layout, dark bar, and unimaginative space, this is the original state of Ansi before it was remodeled. Therefore, how to improve the lighting of the space has become the first risky move of the design.

The introduction of the atrium, combined with the treatment of high ceilings, properly solves this problem. It not only creates an "outdoor space" inside the building, intentionally invites natural light into the room, but also creates a "big space" usage scene.

It is precisely because of the large space that there can be something impressive, but how to make it impressive, how to handle the relationship between the whole and the details, the key and the secondary while being impressive, has become the second risky move in the design.

As an extension of visual perception, the main part of the building, the Mobius staircase, becomes the most important experience for visitors after entering the space. The double helix setting connects the first and second floors, and the coincidence of the starting point and the ending point not only fully interprets the transportation function of the stairs, but also satisfies people's ultimate romantic imagination, and successfully carves out an exquisite visual kingdom.
